Garton Family Charity is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization started in 2016 in an effort to enrich the lives of people in Northeast Ohio   through financial assistance and service projects and to connect residents of Northeast Ohio to their surrounding communities and community members.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 9th event a success! Together, we raised $10,550!

Thank you to our players and attendees for your donations and for spending your day with us. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful group of people who come out each year to have fun together and support our causes.

We are so thankful to have such incredible support in our community! Thank you to Texas Roadhouse – Stow, Oh for donating food for our attendees and for coming out to join us. Thank you to our GFC leadership team and event volunteers for spending your day with us and making sure our event ran smoothly. Planning for this event starts in January, and so much goes into it behind the scenes. We could not do this without you. 

Funds raised will go toward our Holiday Cheer program, The Dale & Joanne Widmer Foundation, Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, and Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank. We are thrilled to support such great causes and know it will help so many people!

Food Box Program

We are excited to announce the launch of our Food Box Program, providing essential groceries and supplies to individuals and families in need. Through this initiative, we are are helping fill the food boxes are conveniently located at key spots around town, ensuring access for those facing food insecurity.

A heartfelt thank-you to Aldi grocery store for their generous assistance with grocery donations, making this program possible. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate community.

 

Thank you to the Outlaws 13U Baseball Club for volunteering to help us with our food pantry project! The boys packed boxes full of food items last night at practice and they and their families will be delivering pantry boxes across the community over the next month to help support people in need.

Thank you to the coaches, and all of the players and their families for helping us make a positive difference in the community!
